3 The Thyroid Gland is a part of the body.
The thyroid is located in front of the windpipe and is shaped like a butterfly. This gland produces hormones that regulate metabolism. The right balance of energy utilization is ensured by increasing or decreasing the body's metabolism.
4 The parathyroid glands are related to the parathyroid condition.
The parathyroid glands are located behind the thyroid and are responsible for regulating calcium andphosphate levels in the body. They release parathyroid hormone, which helps control calcium balance within bones and blood, aiding in proper muscle and nerve function.

The adrenal cortex and the adrenal medulla are located on top of our kidneys. The hormones produced by the adrenal cortex help maintain fluid and electrolyte balance. The body's "fight or flight" response is triggered by the adrenal medulla, which produces adrenaline and noradrenaline.

The pancreas is known for its role in digestion. It makes hormones that regulate blood sugar levels. The critical role of the pancreas in the endocrine system can be seen in the fact that insufficientinsulin production can lead to diabetes.
